The 4th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2016 was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday night. The hosts for the awards tonight were IK Osakioduwa and Minenhle ‘Minnie’ Dlamini. As usual the Nollywood industry dominated the awards ceremony with the biggest award of the night, The best overall movie going to Dry by Stephanie Linus, Popular rapper, Folarin Falana (Falz) also won the award for the Best
Actor in a comedy (movie/series) for Jenifa’s Diary, Funke Akindele also won the award for the Best Actress in a comedy (movie/series) for the same film. Daniel K Daniel also picked up the award for The Best Actor in a drama (movie/series) for A Soldiers's Story.
