BREAKING! Stop Planned Data Price Hike - Senate Orders NCC

The Nigeria Senate, today, Wednesday, November 30, ordered the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC to immediately dismiss their planned data tariff hike. The NCC said the decision is to allow for further consultation.

The NCC’s decision comes a few hours after the Senate ordered a stop to the planned increase.

The Senate furthered that before such hike could take place, all parties (stakeholders) should be consulted.
