Oyo State Government sack 866 Traders in the state.

Hundreds of staff comprising of auto technicians, mechanics, drivers, plumbers, electricians, radio mechanics, carpenters bricklayers found to have

fake trade test certificates have all been fired in Oyo State.

The Government of the state has removed 866 technical personnel which are spread across the civil service and public from its payroll, as part of the ongoing process,staff verification exercise in the state.

Those who are  affected included 483 staff of institutions  and others local government, civil service, tertiary institutions,college, ministries, agencies and department,they also comprises of auto technicians, mechanics, drivers, plumbers, carpenters, radio mechanics, electricians and bricklayers found to have fake trade test certificates.

The certificate is regulated  and issued by the Federal Ministry of Works of the state  to those people who have attended technical colleges, towards professionalizing technicians practice.
