Street rapper Portable Omolalomi faces criticism after commenting on the impact of Shallipopi's new album, which caused his own track, "Tony Montana," to drop from 1st to 10th place on the charts.
This occurred following the release of Shallipopi's second studio album, "Shakespopi," featuring nine tracks.
Portable, whose collaboration with British singer Skepta held the number one spot on the 'Apple Music Top 10: Nigeria chart' for weeks, now finds himself surpassed by all nine tracks from Shallipopi's album.
In response to the drop, the street rapper accused Shallipopi of artificially boosting his streams, alleging that his success is not genuine.
Portable insisted that his own song and career are superior and criticized Shallipopi for lacking meaningful content in his music.
He asserted his dominance in the industry, declaring himself the landlord and predicting a return to the number one position.
