Manchester City striker Erling Haaland remains optimistic about his team’s chances of winning the Premier League title, despite their recent goalless draw against Arsenal.
Following the match at the Etihad Stadium, which saw Liverpool take the lead in the title race, Haaland took to Instagram to express his confidence in City’s ability to bounce back.
“We’ve done it once, we can do it again,” wrote the Norwegian international, referencing City’s comeback to win the title last season.
Although Liverpool currently leads the Premier League table, with Arsenal in second place and City in third, Haaland believes his team can overcome the deficit and reclaim the top spot.
While Haaland is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and globally, he faced a tough challenge against Arsenal’s defensive duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, resulting in zero shots on target during the match.
Despite this setback, Haaland’s faith in City’s title aspirations remains unwavering as they aim to secure another league triumph.
