NSCDC deployed 1227 personnel ahead of the Jigawa council election

Ahead of the council elections in Jigawa, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) command in the state on Friday said it  as deployed 1,227 personnel to ensure free and fair elections in the state.  The NSCDC Spokesperson,Mr Adamu Abdullahi,in the state  made this known in an interview in Dutse.  He said officers of various armed forces were deployed across the 27 local government areas of the state, noting that it will  provide adequate security during,before and after the elections.
