Nigeria Super Eagles move up one step in the latest world
ranking to 38th and 6th in Africa, gaining one point to their
previous 715 point, despite their 2-0 home defeat to South Africa in their last
Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, according to the latest release by FIFA on
Thursday.
Egypt, Congo DR, Senegal, and Tunisia are ranked 1st,2nd,3rd,4th
in Africa and 25th ,28th,31st,34th
in world respectively, while Super Eagles Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier challenger
‘The Indomitable Lions’ of Cameroon are 5th in Africa and also move
a spot to 35th in the world.
The top 10 ranking in the world are Brazil, Germany, Argentina,
Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Chile, Belgium, and France, respectively.
