News: Young Duu: "I prefer to collaborate with Carter Efe over Portable."

Oluwabamishe Abioro, better known by his stage name Young Duu, is a quickly rising Nigerian artist who has made a decision regarding which of his employers he would work with. In an interview with Hip TV, he stated that he would prefer to collaborate on music with comedian Carter Efe over vocalist Portable.

This follows Young Duu's criticism of Carter for not paying him for the song "Oyinmo," on which the two of them worked. Despite not receiving any payment from the 'Machala' crooner, the 20-year-old musician expressed his desire to work with Carter Efe. He claims that Carter is more influential and powerful than Portable.

It's crucial to keep in mind that Young Duu started performing well before he gained notoriety in 2023. This is because he secured a record label deal with Zeh Nation, which is run by the well-known and contentious street pop musician Portable. However, Young Duu was compelled to resign because Portable claimed he hadn't made any money since entering the record industry. Then, he left the record label to collaborate with Nigerian comedian and vocalist Carter Efe. The duo published the well-known song "Oyinmo," which gained popularity on streaming music platforms.

In contrast to Portable, he stated, "I would rather work with Carter Efe because he has more connections and if he is ready to do something, he does it." "It's not that Portable does not have connections; in fact, he has plenty of them, but I get what I'm saying," he added.
