News: Former Manager Refutes Oritsefemi’s Allegations about Burna Boy & D’banj

Ijoba Danku, the former manager of the contentious singer Oritsefemi, has refuted claims made by Oritsefemi regarding his involvement with Grammy-award-winning artist Burna Boy and fellow musician D’banj. In a recent episode of the Doyin’s Corner podcast, Danku addressed several assertions Oritsefemi made during an interview with Chude Jideonwo.

Oritsefemi had alleged that he provided accommodation for Burna Boy during a dispute with his mother and sold a used Prado SUV to D’banj. Furthermore, Oritsefemi accused his former manager, Danku, of defrauding him and betraying his trust. However, Danku has strongly denied these allegations, calling them fabrications.

During the podcast, Danku clarified that Burna Boy never stayed at Oritsefemi’s house. He questioned the plausibility of Oritsefemi’s claims, mocking the idea that Oritsefemi played a significant role in Burna Boy’s personal matters. Danku emphasized, “Oritsefemi did not sell any Prado to D’banj. I don’t support lies. Burna Boy never slept in Oritsefemi’s house, not even once. How could he claim he helped Burna Boy during his fallout with his mum? Did he hold a family meeting with them? [Laughs].”

By debunking these claims, Danku aims to set the record straight and disassociate himself from what he describes as falsehoods propagated by Oritsefemi. This episode sheds light on the ongoing disputes and accusations within the music industry, highlighting the complexities of professional relationships and the impact of public statements on personal reputations.
