A windstorm caused significant damage in Agbashi community, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. Vice-Chairman John Bako-Ari verified the event, mentioning it happened on Tuesday and impacted over 100 houses, the Agbashi Central Mosque, and a primary school. One person died, and several others sustained injuries.
Anthony Oshinyeka, acting Chairman of the Agbashi Development Association, expressed sorrow and urged the government to swiftly provide aid to ease the affected residents' suffering, calling for prompt delivery of relief supplies and medical assistance to the victims.
